Rhythm of Lanka is an international cultural event designed to unite Sri Lankan children, youth, and families living overseas with the spirit of Sri Lanka. Through performance, shared experiences, and community celebration, the event becomes a meaningful homecoming — strengthening identity, pride, and a lifelong bond with the motherland.

Rhythm of Lanka is open to Sri Lankan children, youth, families, and individuals living overseas. Participation also includes organized performance groups, language schools, Dhamma schools, Sri Lankan organizations, and cultural institutions based abroad.
No. While performance groups take part in the Cultural Show on Day 1, families, individuals, and non-performing participants are welcome to attend and actively engage in the Sri Lankan Social Day on Day 2, which focuses on bonding, cultural interaction, and shared experiences.
The main Cultural Show on Day 1 will be held at Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Colombo.
The Sri Lankan Social Day on Day 2 will take place at a hotel located in Colombo, which will be shared with registered participants.
Participants may choose their preferred accommodation option, including hotels, hostels, or staying with relatives. Airport pick-up and local transportation will be provided for participating teams during the two event days and scheduled rehearsal dates.
City tours and tourist experiences are included in the standard event package. However, customized tours and travel support can be arranged upon request as optional add-on services based on participant preferences.
